Mrs. María Lusleni is a founding member of the Rutas del Inca cooperative, and if you’ve been a fan of our coffee for a while you undoubtedly have had the chance to experience the exceptional quality of coffee produced by the cooperative. María herself stands out among a field of talented coffee producers, and she carries out meticulous crop management techniques while also following organic coffee production standards.
This selective harvest was grown at a high altitude (2100 MASL) and dry climate, and after pulping was fermented for an extended period of 96 hours. The growing conditions combined with the long fermentation time help to achieve excellent cup quality, and we’re tasting delicious notes of mixed berries, orange blossom, and honey in this tasty microlot.
